ag analytics, the Danish AI platform that automates and personalizes aftersales customer interactions for the automotive industry, is proud to announce that Monterro, the leading B2B software investor in the Nordics, has become its majority owner. The partnership will enable ag analytics to scale its product development and international growth, as well as benefit from Monterro’s operational, technical, and strategic expertise.

ag analytics was founded in 1997 and has since grown to serve 70 percent of the Danish automotive industry with its AI-powered software platform. The platform connects to existing ERP and Dealer Management Systems and transforms customer data for each car into tailored customer dialogues regarding service, inspection, repairs, tire changes, etc. This results in increased customer loyalty and revenue for car dealers and workshops in the aftersales sector.

“Car dealers and importers across Europe face the same challenge that our technology addresses here in the Nordics. Therefore, it has been crucial for us to find a partner with the experience, technical insight, and financial strength to propel our continued international expansion. We are thrilled to join forces with Monterro. With their support, we will be able to accelerate our product innovation and market expansion, as well as leverage their extensive network and experience in the software industry,” says Nicholas Malcolm, co-owner and CEO of ag analytics, who will continue to lead the company and reinvest significantly in the new ownership.

Erik Syrén, Managing Director at Monterro and new Chairman of the Board at ag analytics, adds: “It is an extremely healthy and highly specialized software company that we are investing in. Car dealers and workshops win a significant portion of their customers back when they connect ag analytics’ product to their existing ERP and Dealer Management systems. Therefore, Return on Investment is often seen already the first month. Mainly because the plug and play nature of the product requires no significant implementation investments.”
